Trump Demands Walmart ‘Eat The Tariffs’

Today, President Trump condemned Walmart for increasing prices due to tariffs and insisted that the company absorb the costs instead.

“Walmart should STOP trying to blame Tariffs as the reason for raising prices throughout the chain. Walmart made BILLIONS OF DOLLARS last year, far more than expected. Between Walmart and China, they should, as is said, “EAT THE TARIFFS,” and not charge valued customers ANYTHING. I’ll be watching, and so will your customers!!!”

Walmart revealed its intentions to raise prices starting next month to offset expenses tied to Trump’s tariff strategy.

President Trump is right again. These big companies should absorb the tariffs. They can easily afford it. 

Walmart is a significant reason the US and its people are in the situation that this administration is trying to correct.
