President Trump confirmed to reporters that the phone of White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles had been breached.
Trump: I’ve heard that. Yeah. She’s, she’s an amazing woman. She can handle it. But I’ve heard that they breached her phones, or they tried to impersonate her. Nobody can impersonate her. Nobody.
The hacker or hackers reportedly accessed Wiles’ phone contacts, which included phone numbers of other high-ranking U.S. officials and notable individuals. According to the WSJ, those who made calls impersonating Wiles employed AI to replicate her voice and sent text messages from a number not linked to Wiles.

At this point, I am more inclined to suspect domestic terrorists and homegrown traitors.
