JD Vance just underscored why many Americans oppose negotiating with hostile regimes. After 21 hours of talks in Pakistan, Iran reportedly maintained its decades-long stance, refusing to abandon its nuclear program.
Thank you JD Vance for reminding Americans why we don’t negotiate with terrorists. https://t.co/jiYa5233ap

JD Vance just reminded the world why Americans should not negotiate with terrorists. After 21 hours of peace talks in Pakistan, the Iranian regime held the same position they’ve held for 47 years, which is refusing to give up their nuclear weapons. And like truly, what different outcome was expected? The whole reason we launched Operation Epic Fury in the first place was because the Iranian regime refused to give up their nuclear weapons and negotiations didn’t work.
Yeah, we’ve struck them hard the last couple of weeks, but we should believe the regime when they say they would rather their entire civilization collapse, burn, and die than ever give up their nuclear program. They’re not business-minded folks like the Saudis or the UAE. This regime has been the leading state sponsor of global terrorism for 47 years.
It’s their ideology. It doesn’t change with a few strikes. I knew that ceasefire was just a save the date for more war.
So I would like to see peace through strength, not negotiating with terrorists.
