Shocking footage from A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville, North Carolina, shows more than 200 students leaving class and running across a busy four-lane highway to stage an anti-ICE protest on Wednesday.
Participants in the “ICE Out” demonstration carried anti-ICE signs as they rushed into traffic, raising concerns about student safety and the growing trend of politically charged activism inside schools.
🚨#BREAKING I have obtained horrifying footage from the AC Reynolds High School “ICE OUT!” protest here in Asheville NC.
It appears that not a single adult was with the children when they BOLTED out of classes and into the middle of a 4-lane highway.
This is beyond dangerous https://t.co/EahAXqZepM

Suspend every one of these students; actions have consequences.
A really terrifying statistic for this school:
52% of ALL THE KIDS who go to this school are NOT DOING MATH AT GRADE LEVEL.
35% of ALL THE KIDS who go to this school are NOT READING AT GRADE LEVEL.
Please, read that one more time.
This is awful. Truly awful.
