Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) joins Fox & Friends to discuss Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s statement that officials have identified those responsible for leaking ICE raid details.
In an exclusive video shared with Fox News, Noem is seen giving an update on the matter.
“We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy,” she said. “We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done.”
Obstructing justice is a very serious offense. It’s time for them to face the consequences. It would be wonderful to see these individuals escorted out in handcuffs on their way to prison.
We have identified criminal leakers within @DHSgov and are preparing to refer these perpetrators to the @TheJusticeDept for felony prosecutions.
These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison.
