Before traveling to the Navy’s 250th anniversary celebration, President Trump told reporters that Gov. JB Pritzker is being pressured not to deploy the National Guard in Chicago due to threats against him.
“I think he’s afraid for his life somehow. When you can have 40 or 50 people killed over the last couple of months, hundreds of people wounded, there’s no place like that in the world.”
President Trump is questioning how Pritzker can assert that Chicago is a wonderful city when so many people are dying every weekend.
