@JakeTbird shared video of Sing in Solidarity, the official choir of New York City‘s Democratic Socialists, setting their vision for New York to “When the Saints Go Marching In,” with the crowd singing “Oh when there’s no NYPD… oh when the revolution comes.” Abolishing the police isn’t a fringe slogan anymore when they’re singing it like a hymn.
According to the post, the choir even has a verse for the revolution, and that ought to make every New Yorker nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Big shoutout to Jake, so go give him a follow via @JakeTbird!
