Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stated that she is a ‘Bronx girl’ and that she could easily take on a ‘Queens boy,’ referring to President Trump.

Regardless, a New York Republican Assemblyman, who grew up with her, states that this claim is completely false, as she is actually from Yorktown, which is located an hour away from the Bronx.

She isn’t from the Bronx. She grew up in a wealthy suburb. She moved to the Bronx to tend bar because she couldn’t find a real job.
