Law enforcement officials have identified the shooter as Joshua Jahn, 29. Jahn died by suicide following the attack.
The shooter at the Dallas, Texas, ICE facility was clearly targeting ICE agents and not detainees with a mass shooting, according to a DOJ press conference. The shooter stated he aimed to terrorize them and make their jobs more difficult.
A note was found in which Jahn expressed hope that the attack would “give ICE agents real terror.” Additionally, FBI Director Kash Patel posted a photo on social media of an unused bullet casing marked with “ANTI-ICE.”

The fact that ICE agents risked their lives to ensure detainees’ safety reveals a lot about their character. However, it seems they will continue to be demonized by Democrats regardless.
