President Trump Announces ‘Massive’ US Operation on Iranian Regime

President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the United States has launched what he called “major combat operations in Iran.”

He said the mission is aimed at protecting Americans by neutralizing imminent threats posed by the Iranian regime, which he described as “a vicious group of very hard, terrible people.”

Trump called on Iran’s leadership to “lay down” its weapons or “face certain death,” describing it as their “only chance for generations.” Following the operation, he urged the Iranian people to “take over your government.” The U.S. military strike against Iran has been designated “Operation Epic Fury.”
